Saturday the girls and one of their friends went to the midnight release of Brisingr, the third book in the Inheritance cycle.



We first went to Barnes & Noble, only to find out that they aren't having a party, so we left. But not after making some new friends.





Then we went to Boarders and found the party!



...And we meet even more friends!



At the party, there were all sorts of things to do. There were quizzes...



Drawing contests...



And costume contests.



Our other friend managed to win part of the drawing contest, and as her prize, she got a dragons egg!


While we were waiting for midnight to come, for the book to come out, we meet even some more friends!




And we had to convince Jack that he wasn't really in heaven...


We also found some good magazines...*sigh* isn't he amazing..?



I also found magazines for two of the most amazing shows ever!



And just another really cool magazine.



Finally, it was that time, the count-down for midnight began! 3...2...



...1!!! Brisingr is out!!

Another shopping day

Today was another shopping day. We went to Eddie's Trick Shop for some more make-up for our "evil" girl.



After Eddie's, we went to Joanne's for find fabric for the girls capes.



Jack really got into the fabric...



Piglet was also very excited about the fabric.



This is fabric my "good" girl is going to use for her cape. She did a very good job, the colour matches my fur fabulously!



And this is the fabric we are going to use for our "evil" girl. The black accents Piglet's stripes wonderfully!



After we were done shopping, we went to Panda Express for lunch.



Their Orange Chicken is amazing!



Piglet liked the drinks the best.



Jack, well, he decided he wanted to play a round of peek-a-boo...


Men! So immature!



ICK! I had to do the dishes after lunch! Do you know how many germs there are on that trash can?! Ewww!

The Makeup

Here we all are with all the makeup the girls and I picked out. Jack was kind of frightened to see what they would come up with...



And rightly so. Hey, I thought this was supposed to be the NOT-So-Scary Halloween Party!



Ah, that's better! The very picture of...ummm..."innocence."

Lady

Shopping Day

Today we went to Piglet's house to pick him up to go shopping.


Jack tagged along.


Piglet and I found some awesome shoes at Goodwill!


Over all we were very successful at Goodwill.


After Goodwill we went to Target. And being the lady of the group, I had to pick out all of the make-up!


But I do have to admit, Jack did help out with the eyeliner!


And once again, we were very successful at Target.


Jack was very excited about seeing a piRATe at Party City.

Over all we had a very successful day, and very fun at that.

They break the news

Well today, the girls found me, Lady. You may have heard of me, because I am the Lady from the well-known movie Lady and the Tramp. But today I started a new adventure, one that me and the friends that are coming with me will never forget. We are going to Disney for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party!! My friends that will be joining me on this adventure are Piglet and Jack. We were all involved in surprising the girls with this trip. They had to go on a scavenger hunt to find us all and we in turn would give them clues to the next friend until they found the note that told them they were going on the trip. It was quite fun to watch their expressions when they realized where they were going.

Just so you know, this will mostly be a photo blog. I will give commentary where needed, but mostly our tail will be told in
pictures.
